Can I Change or Refund the Domain that I Bought by Mistake?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to modify or refund a domain name after it has been successfully registered, even if it was purchased with a typographical error or by mistake.

Domain registration is considered an instantaneous and irreversible service. Once you confirm your order, the payment is immediately processed and transferred to the domain registrar. At that point, the domain becomes permanently assigned to you and cannot be canceled, exchanged, or refunded.

Because domain names are unique and registered instantly in your name, they are non-refundable and non-transferable with other domains.

What Can You Do if You Bought the Wrong Domain?

Although refunds or changes are not possible, you can still take the following steps:

  1. Disable Auto-Renewal:  Since domains are typically registered for a minimum period of one year, we recommend turning off the auto-renewal option in your client account. This ensures that the domain will expire at the end of its current registration period and will not be renewed or charged again.

  2. Register the Correct Domain:  You can immediately proceed to register the correct domain name that matches your original intention. If it’s available, we’ll gladly assist you in securing it quickly and safely.

If you need help registering the correct domain or disabling the auto-renewal setting, feel free to contact our support team — we’re here to help.
