Blockchain node hosting on dedicated servers
A blockchain node has simple but unforgiving needs: disks that keep up with constant reads and writes, enough space for a chain that only grows, and a connection that stays online day and night. IPHOST provides crypto node hosting on bare-metal dedicated servers in Chișinău, Moldova, and Bucharest, Romania. The server is yours alone, you get full root access, and you can pay for it with Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, USDT or USDC.
Running full nodes, archive nodes, RPC endpoints and indexers is allowed on all our dedicated servers. Cryptocurrency mining is not.
Why run a node on a dedicated server
- No shared disks – on a VPS, other customers use the same storage, and a node that falls behind during peak hours has to catch up again. On a dedicated server the disk I/O is yours.
- Fixed monthly price – the server costs the same whether the node syncs 10 GB or 1 TB a month, within the traffic included in the plan.
- Your own software stack – install Bitcoin Core, Geth, Nethermind, Erigon, Lighthouse, Prysm or any client you prefer, with the operating system of your choice.
- Room to grow – servers with four SSDs and up to 512 GB of RAM leave space for an indexer, a block explorer or several nodes on one machine.
Which server for which node
The chain sizes below are approximate and grow every month; leave at least 25–30% of free space for growth and database compaction.

A note on RAID: two 1.6 TB disks in RAID 1 give 1.6 TB of usable space with a mirror copy; in RAID 0 they give 3.2 TB without redundancy. A node can always resync from the network, so many operators choose RAID 0 for the chain data and keep wallets and keys backed up elsewhere. Tell us which layout you want when you order.
Solana validators and high-traffic Solana RPC nodes need far more memory and NVMe storage than our current servers offer, so we do not recommend them for these networks.
What every node server includes
- Enterprise SSD storage with hardware RAID, in the layout you choose.
- A 1 Gbps port with 30 TB of traffic included; 35, 40, 50 or 80 TB can be selected in the cart.
- 1 IPv4 address, with additional addresses available as an option.
- The operating system you choose: Ubuntu 22.04 or 24.04, Debian 12 or 13, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Proxmox or Windows Server.
- IPMI KVM access available as an option, for console access even when the server is not reachable over the network.
- Delivery time shown on each server, with a refund if we miss it, including payments made in crypto.
How to set up your node
- Choose a server from the list below with enough SSD space for the chain and its growth.
- Select the operating system and, if needed, extra traffic or IPv4 addresses.
- Pay by card, bank transfer or cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, USDT or USDC).
- Receive the root access details within the delivery time shown on the server.
- Install your client, open the peer-to-peer port in the firewall and start the initial sync. A Bitcoin or Ethereum full node usually needs from several hours to a few days to sync, depending on the client.
Security and uptime for node operators
Your servers run in our data center in Chișinău, operated by a company certified to ISO/IEC 27001, with redundant power, generators and several upstream carriers, or in our Bucharest location inside the European Union. Servers in Chișinău are also available as offshore dedicated servers outside the EU. The server is unmanaged by default: you are responsible for the node software, updates and keys. Keep validator keys and wallet backups off the server, and restrict RPC ports to the addresses that need them.
